De la Chaise is situated on the river Yonne 2 ½ hrs drive south of Paris. The nearest airport is Orly Paris and there are TVG stations at Nevers and Montbard, both approx 45 mins from the property.

Local Amenities

The nearest town is Corbigny (3 km) where there are shops, banks, a supermarket, tourist information centre, cycle hire, a number of restaurants and a sports centre. Nearest outdoor lakes for fishing, swimming and water-sports are 10 mins drive away at the freshwater lakes Baye and Vaux.

In the summer, there is also a diverse range of concerts, festivals, fairs and exhibitions in the local township details of which are available at the local tourist information centre.
